Emancipation Day Storytime

Join us for a special Emancipation Day Storytime at Confederation Park. In partnership with Ruthy's Reading Room, enjoy stories, music and fun activities that honour freedom, resilience and Black history.

Indigenous Veterans Day, observed on November 8 in Canada, honours the service and sacrifices of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis veterans in Canada's armed forces. Take time to reflect on their contributions by exploring the titles on this list.
