Come to the Grad Club on November 28 for our monthly book discussion mixer, Books & Beers. This month we will be discussing books that have profoundly influenced our lives.

Falling is a major cause of injury among older adults, but many falls can be predicted and prevented. Volunteers from the KFL&A Public Health Fall Prevention Ambassadors Program will show how to reduce your risk of a serious fall at each of four identical sessions in November. Free to all older adults, their family members and caregivers, but seating is limited. When domestic relationships come to an end, whether through death or a breakup, the rights and obligations of common-law partners can be quite different from those of married people. What happens to property and possessions acquired together?  How are children affected? Join lawyer Paul G. Andrews, an expert in family law matters, for a talk on the risks of common-law and other relationships and the legal mechanisms available to protect your interests.
